I just wanted to take a moment to reach out and thank you for coming into my life when you did. I’m 44, perimenopausal, have Celiac disease, depression, chronic idiopathic urticaria, and to top it all off… excess weight. I was following the same “eat less, exercise more” that everyone claims to be the solution. It just wasn’t working.
Over the past two years, I gained about 35-40 pounds from my comfortable weight. I was able to reduce it by about 10 pounds, but then for the past 6(ish) months, I just could NOT move the scale below 205. I don’t feel good, and I have joint pain. I was starting to accept that this is just my life now. That’s when I saw your posts on TikTok. I did some research, decided you were legit, and signed up for the program last week. I’m still going through the course curriculum but decided to start intermittent fasting immediately. Without realizing it, I was already on a 14:10 schedule, so it was fairly easy to adjust to 16:8. I haven’t gone fully into the meal planning yet, but have started working some individual meals into my days. Just since last week, I’ve dropped 1.5 pounds. I’m below that 205 mark, I FEEL better, and I’m just beside myself happy.
So THANK YOU. Thank you for making a plan that can be followed. A lot of people out there have lots of good recommendations, but I need a plan to follow. You have changed things for me, I don’t want to give up anymore, and I wanted you to know. Thank you for being you and putting this out there for all of us that are struggling.
