Testimonial From Suzanne J.

"That Stubborn “Middle Expansion” is Finally Reversing"

MY husband (he has diabetes with oral meds only, but they’ve had to be increased way too much), and I have been on the Galveston Diet for precisely two months. He has lost 14 pounds. I have lost 13 pounds, AND…..he JUST got his A1C done this morning (the dreaded every-3-months A1C), and it’s gone from 8.6 to 6.6 !!!!!!!!! After only two months on this diet! (He has already dropped one of his meds because he doesn’t need it.) I can hardly wait to see what the A1C will be the next time! It’s been creeping up for the past two years because he has NOT been disciplined with his eating and, COVID quarantines sure haven’t helped. We are both THRILLED. We feel so much better, and the clothes are fitting like they haven’t fit in many, many months! That stubborn “middle expansion” is finally reversing.

And we love your recipes. We’ve actually only used (over and over) the first two weeks of recipes. THANK YOU SO MUCH for taking the time and energy, and brainpower to figure all of this stuff out!!! My R.A. is super quiet (I go back for my semi-annual blood work in two more days), but I’m no longer dreading stepping on that office scale. I’m NOT where I want to be just yet…another 7 pounds would be primo. Oh, my hubby is 67, and I’m knocking on 63.

Thank you for telling me that I’m not too old for this diet. Since I started this journey, my older sister has been diagnosed with myelodysplastic leukemia AND lymphoma. The doctors have identified an abnormal gene in our family (from our dad’s side) that is implicated in both. I totally understand your fierce resolve to do anything/everything to combat cancer knocking on your door.

God bless you!
