"The Weight Just Started Falling Off. It Seemed Too Easy."

I found your program on Facebook back in April or May of 2020 and got serious with it right away. I was diagnosed with PCOS in my early 20’s and have struggled with weight since high school. I tried everything with some success but nothing lasting. I always gained the weight back. Add to that thyroid cancer in my 30’s and keeping my meds regulated, I had just about given up. Low-calorie diets don’t work and it makes sense to me now. I’m an active person; I’m a firefighter, so being healthy and in shape is important. It just got away from me.

Now in my forties, it just got harder and harder…. till now. I found the Galveston Diet, started fasting and eating clean right away. I started eating low inflammatory foods, healthy fats, and counting macros, and the weight just started falling off. It seemed too easy. I then changed my exercise to the Galveston mini move and implemented my own stuff along with it.

My husband, who also wanted to be healthier, started following me and eating how I eat, and he too lost around 50 lbs!!! We fast together, hike and bike ride together, and enjoy creating healthier recipes with healthy fats. We feel better and are more focused. I haven’t had a migraine this year at all. My endocrinologist cut my metformin for PCOS in half and thinks I can go off it completely. I truly believe this diet has healed the insulin resistance I’ve struggled with for over 20 years. I believe it prevented a diagnosis of type II diabetes.

I can’t thank you enough for creating something that is not only easy to follow but works. I’ve enjoyed learning all the science behind it too. This is definitely a way of life for me now. I’m attaching two photos. One is a couple of years old and one is a few weeks ago. Again thank you!! This changed our lives for sure.
